Fortnite has reached a new milestone as the FORTNITE: REMIX – The Finale took place featuring a concert with Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Ice Spice, and Juice Wrld. Today, the Battle Royale title has reached over 14 million concurrent players worldwide which has beaten a previous record of 11.6 million players it reached during Chapter 5’s Big Bang event.

The 14 million concurrent players span all platforms where Fortnite is available. This announcement comes just before Chapter 6 Season 1, which will introduce even more crossovers with iconic characters such as Godzilla and Baymax, among many others.

Epic Games says there is more coming as they are running The Finale back with an encore at 8:00 PM ET. They also confirmed more than 3 million people streamed the in-game concert online. That also sets a new record for Fortnite.

December is going to be a huge month as Fortnite OG will also be making its permanent return to the game after it was popular last year.
