hollow knight silksong

Team Cherry has been quiet on the development of the highly anticipated Hollow Knight: Silksong. The game was first announced in February 2019 and then had been delayed. Recently, fans have received a surprise update on the sequel.

Matthew Griffin who handles the marketing and publishing for Team Cherry confirms Hollow Knight: Silksong is progressing well. “Yes the game is real, progressing and will release. <3,” Matthew said to a fan asking if the game has progressed at all since the developer has been silent.

Whenever Hollow Knight: Silksong releases it will be coming to PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X|S. It will also be available on Game Pass on day one.

With the Nintendo Switch 2 on its way this year, we could see Silksong release on the new console. There is also a Nintendo Switch 2 Direct happening this April which could be the event where we see Team Cherry’s newest game.
