Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 & 4 Remaster is likely being announced soon

It has been an interesting few days for fans of the Tony Hawk video game series from 20 years ago. On Thursday, a new Black Ops 6 map teased there was an announcement coming on March 4, 2025, with the Tony Hawk logo on it.

The next day, a countdown went live on the official Tony Hawk The Game website. The countdown is for the same date 03.04.25 along with a loading bar as each day goes by. The reveal date alone should tell everyone this is going to be Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 & 4 Remastered.

In 2020, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 was remastered marking the first time we saw a major recreation of the classic video game series. A couple of years after that, Tony Hawk himself revealed in a podcast there were plans for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 & 4 to be remastered.

The idea of the next remaster was already planned, but Activision had other plans for the studio that worked on the first remaster. The publisher at the time took pitches from other studios but shot them all down.

With Microsoft now owning Activision the remasters for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 & 4 may have become more likely than before.

It’s also worth noting on the countdown website that both Activision and Iron Galaxy are listed.
