Marvel Rivals Season 3: The Abyss Awakens releases July 11 with new hero and more

Marvel Games and NetEase Games have revealed the full details for Marvel Rivals Season 3: The Abyss Awakens. The game’s third season is set to release on July 11, and it will introduce the Phoenix as a playable hero along with a new map, Klyntar: Celestial Husk. 

Season 3 is also going to introduce new features, special events, and Team-Ups. From now on, Marvel Rivals will launch a new season every two months.

The Phoenix (Duelist) – Original X-Men member Jean Grey boasted immense psychic power even before becoming host to the unbridled Phoenix Force, the embodiment of life and psionic energy across the universe. Now aligned with this ancient cosmic power, Jean and the Phoenix traverse space together, burning bright as both a spark of creation and inferno of destruction!

In Season 3 of Marvel Rivals, the game’s mission system will see a complete overhaul, and a new layer of customization to the accessories system will be introduced. In the second half of the season, a new competitive mode will be released. New battle pass and system updates, and four new Team-Ups will be introduced in The Abyss Awakens. 

Marvel Rivals is available to play on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
