Pokémon Friends Launches Today For Nintendo Switch Alongside Android & iOS

This year sits to be an exciting to for Pokémon fans. Earlier in 2025, The Pokémon Company revealed that the next major installment – Pokémon Legends Z-A is set to release later this October. Being an Nintendo Switch 2 title, there is more for fans on the platform. With the launch of the new hardware came upgrade for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet enhancing its performance to 60hz which many are very relieved to be a reality.

Additionally, there are new games on the way. Previously, it confirmed a new successor to Pokémon Stadium is coming. In its previous Pokémon Presents, it announced Pokémon Champions for mobile devices & Nintendo Switch. And more recently, another Pokémon Presents was scheduled for this week that further fuels excitement for the player base.

From the presentation, The Pokémon Company shadow dropped a new title – Pokémon Friends. You can watch the new trailer in the video below:

“Expand your puzzle adventure with Pokémon Friends DLC! The Basic Pack is included with the paid Nintendo Switch version of the game. Put on your thinking cap and get ready to push your brain to the limit unraveling playful Pokémon-themed puzzles to build your collection of pleasing Pokémon plush.”
