Mafia: The Old Country has officially released worldwide across Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and PC. The game is a prequel to the original Mafia trilogy. It takes place in the early 1900s in Sicily. Players will notice a familiar town they can explore that was featured in Mafia 2’s prologue.

Mafia: The Old Country is by no means a long game compared to other major releases we see. The main story length will take players around 10 to 12 hours to complete. This is no surprise to any experienced Mafia player, as Mafia 1 was around the same length.
The Old Country provides a linear and narrative-driven experience and does not feature an open world. For completionists who want to achieve everything in the newest Mafia, it may take around 15 hours to 100% everything.

2K Games and Hangar 13 have not announced if Mafia: The Old Country would come to the Switch 2 yet or Xbox Game Pass. It’s likely that if it were to come to the Nintendo platform, it would be a while after release, including its addition to Game Pass.
