Nintendo released Donkey Kong Bananza in July for the Nintendo Switch 2. It’s full of exploration, collecting all different currencies and collectibles. There are also a handful of transformations to use to find bananas and help you progress through boss fights and different sublayers.
While Donkey Kong Bananza is available on the Switch 2, many have been wondering if the game will be released on its predecessor.
Could Donkey Kong Bananza ever release on Switch 1?
No, Donkey Kong Bananza will not release on the Nintendo Switch 1 ever. This is because of the power the game needs, and to put it simply, the original Switch can’t handle it. After all, development started for the Nintendo Switch 1, but the development team had to push it to the next generation.
Bananza is considered the early console seller for the Switch 2, aside from Mario Kart World, currently. Customers can grab the console right now for $449.99.
