Bellhart Walkthrough Hollow Knight Silksong

Discover everything you need to know about the Bellhart walkthrough in Hollow Knight Silksong, including how Widow boss fight.

Bellhart in Hollow Knight Silksong is a major area that starts cursed and inert. The people in this region are trapped, many buildings are locked, and a bell is sealed off. Get the Cling Grip ability by defeating the Sister Splinter in Shellwood.

Climb up and navigate to the top section of Bellhart after acquiring the ability. Defeating the Widow boss allows you to unlock Needolin in the game. Multiple things become available in Bellhart once the curse is lifted. Take on a side “Gather Wish,” where you collect Silver Bells in Bellhart’s tunnels after lifting the curse.

Get Inside the Bellhart

Defeating the Moorwing and exiting the Greymoor in Hollow Knight Silksong allows you to enter Hunterd Bellhart. Make your way to the left from the Moorwing’s arena to get inside the Bellhart. Make sure you have some useful tools and new equipment before entering this region. Take a path to the Shellwood and navigate through it to reach the left side of Bellhart. Take the elevator to move upward.

Pass through the Barriers

Make your way back to the wall that was hard to reach before. Use the Cling Grip ability to move to the next platform. Use the needle and move to the area next to you. Defeat the aggressive enemies in this area. Do a couple of swipes and dodge the attacks after they leap the bell towards you. Eliminate them quickly to avoid taking any damage.

Pass the next barrier and choose the path to continue further. A bell-topped enemies are blocking your way. Defeat them to move ahead. Proceed to the wall after slicing them up. Pass through the gap and be aware of the bells that will deal massive damage here.

You can now free the flea for the Lost Flea quest. All you need to do is move to the beginner and drop down. Avoid the spikes in the base level by using the Drifter’s Cloak. After that, you can break through the barrier.

Find the Widow

Keep moving down to find the large bells. Avoid these creatures by using the Cling Grip ability. Defeat the one you encounter at the top. Continue traveling to the right and be aware of the spikes. Defeat the bell enemies here and run to the right. Here, you can get some Rosaries to collect. Return to the area you came from.

Move to the west and down, and between two winged forms, you should find a hidden wall that can be broken through. Just beyond it is a hole; jump over that for now and move further west, through another hidden wall. There is a side quest item in this area, but for our purposes, it is a shortcut back towards your last bench that you need to open up. You can do this by breaking some vines at the west end of the chamber.

Return to the last chamber and move east back through it. Dropping down a couple of holes and moving east will bring us to the next major boss fight, the Widow.

Defeat the Widow

Make sure you have the Drifter’s Cloak and Cling Grip abilities, which help a lot for mobility, dodging, and wall grip. Focus on dodging first, then dealing safe damage. You can use pogo attacks to get damage and reposition. Try to use tools more in the second phase. Use any window after big attacks for high damage. Float or hop to stay above the danger. Step aside, or deflect with an attack timed just before the bell lands.

Focus on movement when the arena gets crowded with bells. There is also quite a bit going on at any given time, so this fight follows a “death by a thousand cuts” pattern. To make matters worse, just when you think you’ve won, you’re actually just starting phase two. Try to enter the fight with as much health as possible.

Phase two is a lot more frantic at first, but Widow’s attack pattern is actually a lot more predictable. He will drop vertical or diagonal bells a few times, then perform a flurry attack. Once you get dialed into his rhythm, phase two becomes a lot easier. The boss also peppered in bells coming from the ceiling. You also don’t have any space on the floor when the spikes appear on the wall.

Break the Curse of Bellhart

Once you’ve finally defeated Widow, you plunge your needle and bind to unlock the Needolin ability. You will then need to make your way through a short platforming section to exit a dream sequence of sorts. After waking up, you can hit the nearby lever to unlock a bench.

A cut scene will start after you awake in front of a large web. Use the Needolin to free the Bellheart from the curse that kept them incapacitated. Speak with the Pinmaster Plinney to upgrade your needle to deal additional damage in combat.

Hi, I’m Ali. I started gaming with Max Payne, and it set the tone for my interest in darker, more immersive experiences. I mostly play soulslikes, RPGs, and FPS titles that focus on tight mechanics and pacing.

I have a strong appreciation for game soundtracks and how they shape the overall experience. I’m also a long-time horror fan, across both games and films, with a preference for atmosphere-driven storytelling. This space reflects that passion, exploring games through both their mechanics and the atmosphere they create.
