
Feral Interactive and IO Interactive have announced that Hitman: Absolution is going to release on October 16 for iOS and Android devices. The game will cost $14.99 USD on both the iOS App Store and Google Play Store, with pre-orders available now.
Hitman: Absolution sees Agent 47, the original assassin, hunted by the Agency he once served. Using his trademarks of stealth, distraction, and disguise, 47 strikes back, leaving a trail of bodies in his wake.
The game features 20 missions that encourage players to explore the environment and create opportunities to eliminate targets. With multiple strategies available to tackle each challenge, Absolution’s gameplay rewards creative thinking and lethal precision. Additionally, the presence of high scores motivates players to improve their mission ratings, making 47’s latest adventure highly replayable.
Hitman: Absolution is the latest installment in IO Interactive’s stealth action series. This release allows players to take control using customizable touchscreen controls, gamepads, and keyboard and mouse support. Additionally, there are several quality-of-life improvements, including optional enhanced auto-aim, a dynamic user interface designed for mobile devices, and graphics presets tailored for each device. These enhancements ensure that Hitman: Absolution is fully optimized for gaming on the go.
A Contracts mode will be available as a free post-release update in early 2026. This will allow players to adjust targets and conditions in game missions, the share creations with other players online on both iOS and Android
