Sega has announced that Free Update #3 for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds – Ichiban Kasuga Festival will be arriving on November 6. This follows the successful Phantom Thief festival in October that starred Joker from Persona 5.
The Ichiban Kasuga Festival will begin Thursday, November 6, at 7:00 PM ET up to Sunday, November 9 at 6:59 PM. The World Match will not be available during the limited-time Festival.
In our review for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, we scored the game a 9/10. It’s easily one of the best arcade racing experiences released in 2025. It respects the series’ history while pushing the genre forward through innovative mechanics and thoughtful design.
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is available to play on Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam. It will be coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in early 2026.
