Take-Two have reported the results of its first fiscal of 2017 which ended on June 30th, 2016. It was a successful quarter thanks to GTA V and GTA online. GAAP net revenue went up during the quarter with a growing 13 percent, $311.6 million which is a large improvement over $275.3 million during the same period last year. Take-Two also stated that GTA V, GTA Online, NBA 2K16, and Battleborn were the main contributors.
Digital net revenue was up from $154 million last year to $172.1 million this year.
According to the report they also mentioned Rockstar’s upcoming projects:
“Rockstar Games also is hard at work on some exciting future projects that will be revealed soon.”
The game most fans of Rockstar want is Read Dead Redemption 2, it would make the most sense right now as Grand Theft Auto V has been doing great with it’s online. Who knows they could introduce something new, we’ll see what happens.
