Bloober Team Announces Layers Of Fear 3

While not a major AAA developer, Poland-based Bloober Team remains extremely active in projects on the way. Its recent release schedule is nothing to over look with even more on the horizon. Just this past fall, the game studio launched Cronos: The New Dawn. Additionally, it does not stop there with another project – I Hate This Place – also arrived in January just this past month.

Looking ahead, the developer is also collaborating with Konami once again. It was confirmed in a formal announcement that Bloober Team will be remaking 1999’s Silent Hill. The announcement comes following the success of its Silent Hill 2 Remake which arrived back in 2024. But now we learned more is on the way which looks to be outside its development update from this past October.

During the Layers of Fear anniversary stream, Bloober Team properly revealed Layers of Fear 3. You can watch the announcement trailer in the video below:

“On the 10th anniversary of the original Layers of Fear release, Bloober Team has announced Layers of Fear 3, marking a chilling new chapter for its beloved psychological horror franchise. What began as a mysterious countdown earlier this year – came to an end on February 15, 2026, with the reveal of the next installment. The surprise doesn’t end there: the Layers of Fear universe is expanding beyond video games, with books and music!”

Bloober Team continues in the press release: “The original Layers of Fear helped Bloober Team discover its creative identity and establish itself as a master of psychological horror, laying out a foundation for its future titles. Now a new story begins! During a special anniversary stream, the new title Layers of Fear 3 was revealed with an enigmatic live-action teaser trailer.”
