343 Industries has a ton planned for Halo fans on September 8th with Halo 5’s Forge coming to Windows 10 and brand new multiplayer content coming. It has just been announced that the Halo app will be coming to Windows 10 alongside the other updates.Â
The Halo app will be the quickest and easiest way to find, download, and launch all Halo games that are available on Windows PCs. It will also be a great way to get the latest news, videos, tutorials, featured content, update notes and more from the Halo universe on your PC. With this being said I highly doubt that the Halo Channel will be supported much with this app coming.
The Halo app will only support PC titles made by 343 industries, not Halo legacy PC titles.
Once the app launches you can launch Halo 5’s Forge right from the app on Windows 10, 343 will also create tutorials to help both new and veteran Forgers create and play great new Halo 5 game experience. You can find the latest Halo 5 news, fan create maps, gametypes and game clips. You can find, download, and launch all Halo games that are available on Windows PCs, so once Halo Wars 2 launches you can launch the game directly from the app.
