Halo: Campaign Evolved to release on July 28, according to data miner

This year is Xbox’s 25th Anniversary, and there is expected to be a big celebration by Microsoft with multiple games coming this year from its iconic franchises. One of those franchises includes Halo, and it has been revealed via a data miner that Halo: Campaign Evolved will be released on July 28, 2026.

It was first revealed by Grunt.api on X (Twitter) through a data-mined riddle post that Halo: Campaign Evolved will officially release on July 28. There seems to be a five-day early access period that will begin on July 23rd.

Recently, Halo: Campaign Evolved received a Mature rating from the Australian Classification System. On March 27, the Korea Game Rating and Administration Committee also gave the game a Mature rating.

It was reported in February that Campaign Evolved would be releasing in Summer 2026. It makes the most sense with Gears of War: E-Day and Fable planned to release in the second half of the year. In other news, Halo Studios confirmed the game will not have an in-game shop despite the recent Fanta partnership allowing players to change the color of Master Chief’s armor.

Halo: Campaign Evolved is planned to release on Xbox Series, PC via Steam, Xbox Game Pass, Xbox on PC, and PlayStation 5.
