Pokemon Center Announces Early Access Program

Today, the Pokemon Center announced an Early Access program that will be coming soon. This will allow selected customers an opportunity to purchase popular items before they are released widely. This is an effort to allow fans to purchase before scalpers or bots acquire them first as we’ve previously seen.

Customers who are eligible for early access at the Pokemon Center will be the ones subscribed to the newsletter and who meet “specific criteria” to be selected for early access. The company stated it does not publicly share the eligibility criteria.

Even if you do not have an account on Pokemon Center, you could still receive an invite. This program is only offered to customers in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

Here are a few notes about being eligible:

• Not all newsletter subscribers are eligible.

• Meeting eligibility criteria does not guarantee a chance to participate.

• Receiving an invitation to Early Access does not guarantee future access.

• Creating multiple subscriptions or using different email addresses does not increase the likelihood of receiving an invitation to participate in the Early Access program. Such actions may result in the invitation being voided.

Items included in the early access program include pre-order items and anything else the store has to offer. Invitations to the program will also have an expiration if users don’t use the link within a certain amount of time.
