Is Yoshi and the Mysterious Book Multiplayer?

Nintendo’s next big release for the Nintendo Switch 2 is Yoshi and the Mysterious Book. It’s launching on May 21, 2026 and will cost $59.99 digitally and physically it will be $69.99.

There are still a lot of questions about the game, including whether it will feature multiplayer.

Will Yoshi and the Mysterious Book feature Multiplayer?

Since Nintendo released the overview trailer for Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, it indicates that the game will be a single-player only game. It looks like there will not even be the option for co-op to play with friends. The official game listing on the eShop does not show that it will be multiplayer.

Can I play on Switch 1?

Yoshi and the Mysterious Book will not be released on the Nintendo Switch 1. It will be a Switch 2 exclusive game.
