The Final Fantasy XIV Online MMO has remained a staple on both PlayStation & PC for roughly a decade. That was until 2024 when Square Enix decided to ship an Xbox Series X|S version of the game with its beta going live earlier that same year. The partnership went so far as to even feature a limited-edition ‘Collector’s Edition’ bundle console themed after the game.
Additionally, Square Enix is also working on shipping the title for mobile devices as well. Reports around the time of the Xbox version’s development indicated that Android & iOS would be added to the menu for Final Fantasy XIV Online. And by November later that fall, Final Fantasy XIV Online was properly announced for the aforementioned platforms.
