Forza Horizon 6 Already Breaks New Record For Steam Player Count Ahead Of Full Release

For those fitted with Xbox Game Pass, Forza Horizon 6 is nearing its release later next week. The game officially went gold this month cementing the newest addition introducing the Japan Festival to the series. Already, Playground Games highlighted both quality & performance modes for Forza Horizon 6 so there are options for users to decide when booting up the game,

Additionally, information on the new Car Pass for Forza Horizon 6 surfaced online. In that, over 30 DLC cars are said to be present in the new package, but details on the vehicles has yet to be officially confirmed. Elsewhere, users did manage to obtain access to Forza Horizon 6 ahead of release. And the game studio addressed this by implementing “franchise-wide and hardware bans” for those that took advantage of this loophole.

Now with the 6-day early access for Forza Horizon 6 officially live, the newest installment has broken a new milestone on Steam. In the past, Forza Horizon 4 when debuting on the platform set a record for the highest-played franchise then. Forza Horizon 5 went on to exceed its predecessor all-time player headcount. Now Forza Horizon 6 has more than doubled the 2021 release’s player count.

On SteamDB, Forza Horizon 6 currently stands at 178,009 for its all-time peak player count. In comparison, Forza Horizon 5 on Steam Charts only counted approximately 80,075 for its all-time peak. And going down only slightly, Forza Horizon 4 ranks the lowest with an impressive 75,958 for its all-time highest concurrent player numbers.

Engagement for the Forza Horizon series is certainly not something to shrug off. For Forza Horizon 5, it was revealed that the game recorded over 40 million players entered the Mexico Festival.
