Take-Two reaffirms GTA 6 November 19 release, confirm summer marketing plans

Take-Two Interactive held its fourth quarter and fiscal year 2026 results yesterday. Of course, GTA 6 was the topic of discussion during this call. CEO Strauss Zelnick has reaffirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI will be released on November 19, 2026. They also expect Fiscal Year 2027 to reach new record levels of operating performance.

“We believe Fiscal 2027 will establish new record levels of operating performance driven by the November 19^th launch of Grand Theft Auto VI, along with strong execution across our portfolio. We expect to sustain this higher level of scale, generate strong cash flows, and deliver long-term shareholder value as we release our robust development pipeline, continue to optimize our live services and capitalize on new business opportunities.”

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has also reiterated that Summer marketing for GTA 6 will begin this summer. He essentially mentions that in the next few weeks, we shouldn’t expect anything, but when summer arrives, we can expect to see a big push for GTA 6.

“So the next few weeks I don’t think it’ll be summertime yet, but when it’s summertime, Rockstar expects to start marketing ‘GTA 6.’”

It was highly anticipated that Grand Theft Auto VI pre-orders would go live this week, thanks to a leak by retailers. However, that seemed to be a dud as Take-Two Interactive has not addressed this. But when responding to potential delays and rumors going around, Zelnick said this:

“I think reiterating November 19 as is a launch day today is probably a positive. I think we’ve been really clear that we’re releasing the title on November 19.”

Grand Theft Auto VI is going to launch on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.
