Rockstar Games announced earlier today that Grand Theft Auto 6 is going to cost $80 while the Ultimate Edition will cost $100 at launch on November 19.
As expected, Sony has the marketing rights for GTA 6 and have put out an ad campaign that PlayStation 5 is the best place to play GTA 6. The advertisement originally showed the regular PS5, but was quickly changed to the PS5 Digital Edition since the game will have a digital-only launch.
“Thanks to the close partnership between Sony Interactive Entertainment and Rockstar Games, Grand Theft Auto VI will play best on PS5 by taking advantage of PS5’s immersive features to deliver a deeply engaging single-player experience when it launches on November 19.”
- The DualSense wireless controller’s haptic feedback offers responsive vibrations, while its adaptive triggers provide dynamic resistance. The controller’s integrated speaker also adds another dimension to key moments and interactions, with sound effects from the controller enhanced by haptic feedback.

- Another benefit of GTA 6 on PlayStation 5 is the Tempest 3D AudioTech where you can surround yourself in the distinct soundscapes of Leonida. The game also leverages the PS5’s ultra-high speed SSD, providing nearly instant load times.
