Nintendo has released Mario Kart World update 1.7.0 for all players and it adds two new routes to Knockout Tour, and a new feature that lets you add stickers in Photo Mode.
Knockout Tour was one of the new modes that launched with Mario Kart World. It’s a mode where you race from one end of the vast world to the other. It starts with 24 drivers and after each checkpoint more racers get eliminated.
The two new routes have been revealed with information below via Nintendo:
Drill Rally
A route that connects Wario Shipyard and Bowser’s Castle.
Boomerang Rally
A route that connects Salty Salty Speedway and Whistlestop Summit.
Nintendo has said that additional Knockout Tour routes are planned for future updates. To unlock these new routes, you’ll have to clear at least one Knockout Tour rally.
Mario Kart World Photo Mode Update
In the latest update, players can now add stickers to Photo Mode. These stickers that you can use are those that you’ve collected already.
You can also combine them with frames, making it easier to create original photos. Joy-Con 2 mouse controls can also be used to place the stickers.
Mario Kart World is available exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2.
