Dispatch Officially Lands On XBOX Later This July

Episodic releases are making a comeback in 2026. Just this past month, Telltale Games confirmed that The Wolf Among Us is to return this fall. The title will hit modern consoles in the form of ‘The Wolf Among Us Remastered’. Additionally, the game studio also revealed that plans to ship the highly-anticipated sequel The Wolf Among Us 2 is now scheduled for a 2027 launch window.

As for current releases, AdHoc Studio’s Dispatch has filled that hole for many fans looking for a title to fit that gap. Lead voice actor Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad) shared that he is eager to see new seasons of the new IP at some point in the future. AdHoc Studio this past June rolled out the ‘HR Violations’ update for the game which issued a slew of censorship features for select segments of the game atop of other customization options.

On Wednesday, AdHoc Studio revealed that the XBOX Series X|S version for Dispatch is set to release later this month – July 29th. You can watch the trailer in the post below:

“You play as Robert Robertson, AKA Mecha Man, whose mech-suit is destroyed in a battle against his nemesis, forcing him to take a job at a superhero dispatch center: not as a hero, but a dispatcher. In charge of rehabilitating a group of ex-supervillains, you must manage your roster while navigating office relationships and rebuilding your suit for a shot at revenge,” the overview on the XBOX Store reads.

“In Dispatch, every decision you make influences the unfolding narrative. From banter in the breakroom to life-or-death situations in the field, your choices affect your relationships with the heroes, their allegiances, and the path your own story takes. […] Use the strategy map to review ongoing emergencies and deploy the right (or wrong) heroes to deal with them. Balance the risks and rewards as you make tactical decisions, knowing that each choice can have lasting consequences for your team and the city.”
