Since the night before Nintendo Switch was revealed, journalist Laura Dale has given out some reliable information regarding the unique system. Recently she has revealed some new information that Nintendo has not officially announced yet.
According to another source the maximum battery life for the handheld console is three hours at the maximum. This may concern some people, but yet again we do not have an official word.
To those asking about battery life on Nintendo Switch, I'm hearing "mediocre" battery life.

She had also said that the Dock does improve system performance and that the screen is touch enabled. Nintendo says they can’t comment if the Switch will play smartphone games such as Super Mario Run and future games.
I am VERY confident in saying that the Nintendo Switch screen is a touch screen, but that is not core to most gameplay.
