PS4 ships 3.9 million units in the last 3 months.

Sony has announced their three month earnings that ended September 30th totaling 47.4 million units sold in its lifetime, Worldwide. Sony’s Game & Network Services division overall saw its sales down 11.3% to $3.2 billion, which Sony labeled as being “significant” was mainly attributed to a difficult foreign exchange rate and PS4 price drops.

Overall Sony Corporation saw its sales fall by 10.8% to $16.7 billion. The next gaming product Sony is launching is the highly anticipated PS4 Pro being sold at $399.
