Nintendo Europe has announced a SNES New Nintendo 3DS XL limited edition

During Gamescom, Nintendo Europe has revealed yet another version of the New Nintendo 3DS XL. They will be launching a SNES-themed edition of the New Nintendo 3DS XL on October 13th.
This retro-themed system’s outer shell pays tribute to the classic design of the Super Nintendo, while inside the Nintendo 3DS buttons are coloured just like the original system’s controllers.

This is pretty much the same as the Super Famicom New Nintendo 3DS XL already released in Japan, but it’s good to see a domestic version finally. Expect a Super NES US version with a different design will be on the way at some point.
