If you’re not familiar or have never played this game (to my shame, that includes me), now would be the good time to introduce yourself to this critically-acclaimed classic: Okami HD.
Capcom originally released the game, Okami, in 2006 for the PS2 to many accolades, while enjoying its success on the PS3 and the Wii. Okami HD will be on the PC (Steam) and an Xbox system (Xbox One) for the first time. Capcom has yet to officially announce it for the Switch.
Even if you’re not familiar with the game (such as yours truly), its artistic value with cel shade graphics alone make this game very intriguing. It’s even more stellar in it’s 4K appearance. It’s a mix of Wind Waker and Viewtiful Joe (the latter also a Capcom release), with the main character having some semblance of Link’s wolf form in Twilight Princess.
Okami HD is now available for $20 on the PC (Steam), Xbox One, and PS4.

I have been gaming since 1987 when arcades were king. Still enjoy old school games. “Part-time” writer, forever gamer.
