With fans all over looking towards the annual Game Awards live streamed ceremony, anticipating which games will earn titles like ‘Best Soundtrack’ & ‘Game of The Year’, there are also the likeliness of seeing new titles being announced during the show.
Recently the show’s host Geoff Keighley tweeted a picture advertising the upcoming award show with the image reading “WORLDS WILL CHANGE”. Where some Alien fans were able to instantly see the similarity to the font that the Weyland Corporation uses.

Prior to this it was discovered that 20th Century Fox had a trademark filed under Alien: Blackout. Which specifies game software and game disks in the trademark’s detail, giving an hard implication that this will be the upcoming title for the nearly forty year-old film series.
On top of other speculating circulating around The Game Awards, fans have also seen the possibility of Metroid Prime 4 getting showcased at the ceremony next week. Since E3 of 2017, Nintendo has been pretty quiet regarding the highly anticipated title following the approaching Super Smash Bros. Ultimate which releases the day after the award ceremony in California.
The Game Awards in the past few years have gradually increased its viewership becoming one of the most popular award ceremonies to date. Despite being free for viewers via streaming, the show continues to outperform the last each year.
