Rumor: Two Next-Gen Xbox Consoles to be Announced at E3 2019

The rumors around Microsoft’s plans for the future keep swirling and swirling, this time in regards to their upcoming E3 announcments.

According to a report from a French website, JeuxVideo, two consoles code-named “Anaconda” and “Lockhart” are going to be announced at this years E3. The data and specs for both consoles have also been reportedly leaked since January, but only confirm that both consoles will contain a SSD. Senior Editor for The Verge, Tom Warren, stated that the specs are not all accurate at this time.

The “Lockhart” is reportedly a lower priced, digital-only focused console that lacks a disk drive, while the “Anaconda” will be a more high-end console and will be close to the same price as the Xbox One X.

The French website also claims that the consoles will release in 2020 along with Halo Infinite as their launch title. Halo Infinite will still be available for Xbox One and PC as planned from last E3.

JeuxVideo also reported that the newest Microsoft studio, NinjaTheory, will also be launching a game in 2020.

Below are the specs for each console. As of this point, these are all rumors and nothing can be confirmed until possibly until E3 this year.
