Following the announcement of Gun Media made to cut creating content for their licensed title Friday The 13th: The Game, it was assumed that continued support after dedicated servers for the game officially drops we won’t see any more updates for the game. But since the announcement back in September of last year, dedicated servers have yet to drop on the game as of yet.

In the meantime though, users on Nintendo Switch will have a chance to get their hands on the title as developer Gun Media revealed that the game will be coming later this Spring.

The version that will drop on Nintendo’s platform later this year will include the base game bundled alongside all content currently available for the game, including paid DLC as well. The only exception being the Savini Jason skin which is only exclusive to backers of the game’s Kickstarter campaign.

Following the recent update on the dedicated servers that are promised to drop with the next update for the console iterations, it’s now detailed that the upcoming client is expected to release in April. But the blog post also reveals that the servers will not release for consoles the same time as the engine update, implying they will drop at a later date after April.
