Shortly after the news broke out, users on Twitter asked publisher Deep Silver directly to confirm or not if the upcoming title will actually drop on Xbox One; where the company responded that there is no plans to port the title to the console.

Just more than a week ago, similar news broke out surrounding Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding as the game was reported to be ported to PC following the title’s launch in 2020. Antonio Fucito, who leaked the release date for the title prior to the official reveal, disclosed the game’s possibility of hitting PC.
Shenmue III is currently listed for PlayStation 4 and set to drop on November 19, 2019: which was initially aimed for this coming August, but was abruptly delayed for the third time now to the Fall.
