For fans who follow Japanese developer Atlus actively, we know how the team likes to make a announcement at any chance they get regardless of how much new information is being revealed, even if it is just a date for an announcement. This time however, it looks that we finally have a set date confirming when the upcoming Persona 5 Royal will officially be arriving in the west next year.

Atlus announcing that the game will in fact be arriving on the very last day of March next year, the studio also shared that there will be a few different pre-order options to choose from on how big of a fan you are for this new version of the 2016 titular title. Of course, for the digital edition of the game players who pay ahead will receive the promised add-on DLCs that were issued for the initial title along with a specialized theme also. Or even dip in some with a slew of Digital Editions that are up for pre-order.

Such as the Deluxe Edition which will offer players the exclusive Kasumi Costume Pack ranging at $69.99. Or the heftier $99.99 Persona 5 Royal Ultimate Edition that not only offers the previously listed cosmetic downloadable content bundle, but also an additional 5 other costume packs if you choose to do so. However, the physical pre-order options also have some neat goodies in-store for the hands-on fans.

The Launch Edition will include the game along with the dynamic theme and a decorated steelbook for $59.99. But there is also the option for the Phantom Thieves Edition for $89.99 that provides the following:

  • Art Book
  • Collector’s Box
  • Dynamic PS4 Theme code
  • Limited edition Steelbook case
  • Official Joker Mask
  • Soundtrack

Unfortunately for those who wanted to go the extra step ahead alike those in Japan with the Persona 5 Royal Straight Flush Edition, that pre-order option only looks to be available in the developer’s home region. The region-locked edition offered a themed P-studio t-shirt and other unique in-game cosmetic packs. What do you plan to pick up for Persona 5 Royal?

Persona 5 Royal is scheduled to release for PlayStation 4 in the west on March 31, 2020.
