The roster for this year’s Dragon Ball FighterZ Season 2 was pretty good with the addition of Kid Goku GT in early Spring and the later addition of Janemba who was accidentally revealed ahead of the character’s announcement just a month after. Along with the addition of Gogeta SSGSS as well, the most anticipated debut was this week’s Broly.

Developer Arc System Works and publisher Bandai Namco released a trailer for the character’s release date which you can view below.

Excitingly enough, the studio behind the game went the extra mile to capture the same element of the notorious character by recreating some of his battles and most anticipated moments from the recent film, Dragon ball Super: Broly. Even using Daichi Miura’s Blizzard, one of the licensed songs from the film’s soundtrack to add to the immersion introduced in the 2019 movie. However, the trailer explicitly clarifies that the song will not be used in the game unfortunately.

Starting today, players will be able to unlock Broly: either through owning the Season 2 FighterZ Pass 2 or individually paying for the character. Broly is available for $4.99 on all supported platforms.

Are you excited to finally play Broly in Dragon Ball FighterZ?

Dragon Ball FighterZ is out now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
