This past Summer Rockstar Games finally gifted GTA Online players with an update that many have only dreamed of, a functioning casino. Only witnessing elements of it in the previous Red Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, it was time we would be able to do the same in the 2013 title. However, it is known that these establishments are notorious for stealing our well-spent money, so Rockstar is giving users the opportunity to get it back.

While not entirely the amount you spend, players will instead have the opportunity to set-up a very new heist on the Diamond Casino and it will be arriving as early as next Thursday.

Rockstar has teased at the new addition quite a bit with cryptic hints at the approaching job from glitches on the casino’s website to unanimous text messages to penthouse owners. “The Diamond Casino Heist is an all-new approach to Heist architecture and execution: one huge gameplay-packed operation as you work with the Cheng family to infiltrate the most secure building in all of Los Santos,” the synopsis for the new heist reads. Unlike the other spread out missions we have experienced already, this new single heist will offer multiple ways to execute and branching plans to pursue the ultimate job.

Interesting enough, the description reads on to reveal that there will be a wide range of different scenarios and outcomes to live, which will introduce some well-earned replayability to the game that will feel less of a grind for the active players. To initiate this new heist, the crew leader must invest into the newly added retro arcade business and plan the attack from within. In the depths of the operation, there will be a fresh batch of facilities for players to hone their thievish skills like vault cracking and keypad hacking.

What do you plan on doing for the Diamond Casino Heist?

Grand Theft Auto V is out now for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC; the approaching update will only be coming to the modern console counterparts.
