Activision and Paramount Pictures announced the Call of Duty Movie is going to be set in the Modern Warfare universe.
The news comes from Fanatics Fest that is taking place in New York this weekend where director and co-writer Peter Berg made the official reveal.
The Call of Duty Movie is planned to release on June 30, 2028 at theaters worldwide.
No other details were revealed for the upcoming film. Interestingly, the director once called war games pathetic over ten years ago.
The Call of Duty series continues later this year when Modern Warfare 4 releases for Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
