Star Wars Battlefront 2: The Rise of SkyWalker Content Revealed

It has been two years since the initial release of Star Wars Battlefront 2, and to say the game has come a long way would be an understatement. Today, EA released a trailer for the upcoming The Rise of SkyWalker content, which releases tomorrow, December 17th.

We’ll land on a brand new, jungle planet and be able to play as either a Sith or Jet Trooper as well as an Ovissian gunner. The trailer itself is admittedly picturesque, beginning with Finn looking up at the arrival of the First Order. Things quickly kick off, including an appearance by BB-8 rolling through a walker’s legs. Kylo Ren shows up and it ends in a confrontation with Rey.

The content will launch tomorrow, two days before The Rise of SkyWalker opens in theaters on the 19th. The Rise of SkyWalker content will be a part of the Celebration Edition, which includes the base game plus all future updates. In addition, you will get 25 heroes, 125 Trooper appearances, 100 Hero and voice lines, over 70 Hero victory poses and more. If that sounds like a lot, it’s because it is. EA seems to have learned from the disastrous launch, as all of the includes features are everything you could have spent money on through in game purchases. Throw it that it only costs $39.99 and you have yourself a good deal. If you already own the game, you can upgrade for only $24.99 as well.

The Rise of Skywalker content is available for both PS4 and Xbox One as well as PC.
