Xbox Exec Says 2016 Games Lineup is Bigger Than This Year’s

Microsoft marketing executive Yusuf Mehdi states that the Xbox One will have the best lineup in Xbox history in 2016. Yes we all know that Xbox is has been releasing more and more great games on the Xbox One this year. Such as Tomb Raider, Star Wars: Battlefront, Halo 5, and many more. But Yusuf Mehdi says that next year will be better. The company’s marketing executive has stated that 2016 will be the “best lineup” in the history of Xbox.

Yusuf was speaking at the Credit Suisse Technology Conference in Scottsdale this week, and was very excited to talk about Xbox’s game schedule “If you like to game, this is the year to get an Xbox,” said Mehdi at the conference. Waxing lyrical about the likes of Halo 5: Guardians and Minecraft. Mehdi then firmly said that “next year will also be the best lineup” of Xbox games.

Now I will admit that the Xbox One may have had a rough start but Microsoft are now certain that the Xbox is going  the right path. This year Xbox not only had a great selection of games but now there are over 100 Xbox titles that are backwards compatible. And to top it off Xbox’s new controller the Xbox One Elite is being praised of being one of the best controllers on the market.

Microsoft has a lot in store in the future and highly anticipated titles such as Gears of War 4, and Quantum Break will bring a lot of new players and spark a lot more interest for Xbox.
