Pokémon Red and Blue getting 20th anniversary 3DS bundle

On February 27th Nintendo will be releasing a special 20th anniversary 3DS bundle for Pokémon Red and Blue, it is also the date when Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow are re-releasing on the Nintendo eShop as digital downloads. The 3DS bundle will come with all three games pre-installed, and a special Pokémon menu theme and also two cover plates. The 3DS version of Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow won’t be remakes, however, they will come packaged with online functionality. It’s hard to believe that it has been 20 years already but it has been a fun 2 decades with  Pokémon.
In Japan, fans instead have the option of four Pokémon-themed 2DS bundles to match the Red, Blue, Yellow and Greeneditions of the game.
