During today’s Inside Xbox, Neon Giant revealed cybernetic-timed The Ascent – a futuristic top-down, co-op title that will be coming to Xbox One & Xbox Series X in the coming future. However, yet another cooperative project has been announced which holds to be the antithesis of the mentioned title. That game happens to be Second Extinction.

Instead, players will find themselves falling onto Earth overrun by mutated dinosaurs that nearly evaporated all human life on the planet. You can watch the full trailer in the video below:

“Your goal is to wipeout the mutated dinosaurs that have taken over the planet. Teamwork is vital as you adopt the role of one of the survivors, using a combination of weapons, abilities and skills to take on the vast number of enemies,” the basis for the game shares. Players will be equipped with specialized weapons and differentiating abilities to best your scale-cover foes.

Alongside the game coming to Xbox One, players can also anticipate the same for Xbox Series X. While the game has yet to receive a determined release date, there is confirmation that the game will be supported by Smart Delivery.

Are you planning on trying to recapture Earth by picking up Second Extinction?

Second Extinction is listed for Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
