Just about a day ago, developer Hardsuit Labs during the scheduled Inside Xbox presentation announced that the upcoming Vampire: Masquerade – Bloodline 2 will officially be releasing on next-generation hardware with the reveal for Xbox Series X. However, the team failed to mention if the game will also be shipping to PlayStation 5 at the time of the announcement.
Thankfully, the Seattle studio today has shared that there will be a PlayStation 5 version alongside the already announced PlayStation 4 version as well. The team did so through a new trailer for the game, which you watch in the video below:
This long-awaited sequel for the recognized Vampire series actually passed the torch to Hardsuit Labs as the team decided to take on a sequel as the initial developer – Troika Games – closed its door a year after the its latest Vampire entry released in 2004. Howbeit, the new studio did recruit the original Writer for the game which should sway fans to pick up the sequel as it is expected to hold pretty close to the source material.
One thing that should be noted is that it is currently unclear if Vampire: Masquerade – Bloodline 2 will provide cross-buy between the PlayStation 4 & PlayStation 5. It was confirmed for both Xbox One and Xbox Series X through Smart Delivery, but it has yet to be determined for Son’s platform as of yet.
Do you plan on getting Vampire: Masquerade – Bloodline 2 for PlayStation, Xbox, or PC?
Vampire: Masquerade – Bloodline 2 is listed to ship in 2020 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
