For Nintendo Switch owners who are still looking for something to do even after the release of Animal Crossing: new Horizons during this ongoing pandemic, the wait will only be a few days more as Nintendo announced a handful of new additions hitting the virtual libraries for the NES & SNES. In a new trailer, the company reveals that there will be one NES title and three SNES games.
Nintendo shows to still be committed to its previous initiative to pace releases for its virtual machines available on the platform. Both NES & SNES are unique to Nintendo Switch Online subscribers.
Here is the full lineup coming on May 20:
- Operation Logic Bomb (SNES)
- Panel de Pon (SNES)
- Rygar (NES)
- Wild Guns (SNES)
Regarding additions for both emulated platforms in 2020, Nintendo has yet to grace players with recognized and highly-requested releases for the platform. The closest thing came back in December with the additions of Kirby Super Star and Super Punch-Out. Even more shipped with the debut of the SNES library even earlier in September adding F-Zero, Super Mario World, and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.
What titles would you hope to see be added liter in the coming future?
Nintendo Switch Online is available for purchase in three tiers: 1 month for $3.99, 3 months for $7.99, or 1 year for $19.99.
