Rare’s New Battletoads Project Gets Surprise Rating In Brazil Today

It has been more than a year since the initial announcement made by developer Rare that Battletoads would be receiving a new, same-named title sometime in the coming future. However, upon the game’s initial reveal, the game has not been properly displayed since then. With the game continued to be overshadowed by the ever growing Sea of Thieves and the coming IP Everwild – it is easy to forget that the UK team is working on a new entry featuring Rash, Pimple, and Zitz.

But regardless of who might and might not have remembered the announcement is irrelevant as new details have arrived on the new project. According to a new discovery from Gematsu on Twitter, Battletoads has resurfaced with a new rating in Brazil.

Alike with many properties that receive a rating either it being Korea, Taiwan, or even Brazil, this prematurely discloses that the game is imminent for an announcement. That being a proper showcase or even a reveal for the game’s release – it will be enticing for excited followers that have been patiently waiting for the new game.

Aiming for when, players could expect the reveal to be later this month, in fact. Announced by Microsoft, the firm shared that its first-party Xbox 20/20 presentation will take place on July 23 this month. It is a sure guess that 343 industries Halo Infinite will be present alongside the anticipated sequel from Ninja Theory, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II.

But with Rare currently developing two upcoming titles, there is the chance the studio will present twice in the latter of July. Further on the matters of Rare being present during the showcase with Battletoads, fans could even expect a potential Xbox Series X version of the aforementioned title as well.

There happened to be a similar prediction insinuated from a separate discovery recently. In that, fans have uncovered a new trademark filed by Microsoft for Fable. Even more, the company filed said trademark to be intended for use as well which leads to speculation that the new entry being developed by Forza Horizon team Playground Games will be at the showcase also.
