Once every blue moon, developer Frictional Games releases another thrilling title. Over the past few years, we witnessed Amnesia: The Collection arrive with console players now entering the mix for the decade-long run since the start of the IP. Additionally, the developer more recently rolled out ‘Amnesia: Rebirth’ on PC as well.
Beyond that, fans are certainly hungry for more. Well, there is a new game on the horizon – Amnesia: The Bunker. You can watch the reveal trailer for the new title in the video below:
“Amnesia: The Bunker is the latest installation in the Amnesia franchise, a first-person horror game set in a desolate WW1 Bunker,” Frictional Games writes for the game’s overview. “Face the oppressing terrors stalking the dark corridors. Search for and use the tools and weapons at your disposal, while keeping the lights on at all costs. Overcome fear, persevere, and make your way out alive.”
More exciting is the game is aimed to ship sometime next year in 2023. Even more excitement layered on is the newest project is planned to ship for Xbox Game Pass. This is not the first time the Amnesia IP was welcomed to the service. This past October, both Amnesia: Collection & SOMA were both added to the library. You can read the full report by heading here.
