On November 21, 2017, Nintendo released Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp for iOS via the App Store and Android via Google Play. The mobile game has been around for almost 7 years already and Nintendo announced that it will end service for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp on November 29, 2024.

Once the service ends, players will no longer be able to play Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. However, there is a paid version of the app in development which you will be able to transfer your saved data. Nintendo says the paid version will be released during the same period as the end of service for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp.

The paid app will have the same basic gameplay and controls. This app will allow the player to use the included features with a one-time purchase. There will be no in-app purchases or subscription services
