What is Expedition 2 in Arc Raiders?

Expedition 2 is the second major Expedition cycle in Arc Raiders. Consider it a prestige-style progression event where you voluntarily reset your current character’s progress. You keep and lose some items during the expedition in exchange for long-term rewards.
You can earn skill points, stash bonuses, cosmetics, and account buffs as rewards. Prepare your stash and contribute materials to qualify during the sign-up window for the expedition.
Expedition 2 Mechanics

Prepare a caravan by contributing set materials in multiple stages before the expedition departure. Once ready, you depart by triggering a progress reset with rewards. Players who complete Expedition 2 can earn permanent rewards like extra stash space, skill points, new Scrappy cosmetics, and an upgraded expedition indicator icon.
You also gain XP bonus, higher materials gains from Scrappy, and better repair value. The amount of stash value you hold determines how many skill points you get for Expedition 2. Make sure to have a total stash value of 3,000,000 coins to obtain the full 5 skill points.
Arc Raiders also brings a catch-up system for players who participated in the first Expedition. If they don’t earn all possible points early, they can reclaim missed points at a reduced cost.
Expedition 2 Timeline

You begin contributing materials and stash value toward completing all stages of the caravan build on Dec 22, 2025. This preparation phase lasts roughly 60 days and opens as a project window. The sign-up and departure window (February 22 – March 1, 2026) is when you can commit and leave on Expedition 2.
You must sign up and finish all caravan stages to qualify for rewards during this crucial window. You lose access to the temporary expedition buffs if you somehow miss this window. March 1, 2026, is the last day you can officially embark on Expedition 2 and triggers the progress reset.
- Week 1-7: build and supply your caravan by contributing required materials.
- Final 7 Days: sign up and officially start the Expedition run before the window closes.
- After departure: resets with rewards and buffs once the cycle ends.
This timeline teaches you to plan resource gathering over several weeks. This allows you to avoid rushing at the last minute. Departure windows are short, so hitting the sign-up deadline is crucial in every aspect. Expedition windows repeat every 8 weeks, so missing one delays buffs until the next cycle.
