ARK: Survival Evolved going to Xbox more details

Yes the dinosaur-riding game we all know and love is coming to the Xbox One’s Game Preview on December 16. This means that if you are in the Xbox Preview Program you will be able to download the game on December 16. Studio Wildcard’s fun, open-world caveman/dinosaur game ARK: Survival Evolved had a lot of attention on Windows PC when it was released on Steam early access this past June. With this much of attention Studio Wildcard wants to have the game on more platforms and attract more players starting with the Xbox One. ARK: Survival Evolved will be $34.99 with Xbox Game Preview on Xbox One and will include an exclusive bionic “Tek” T-Rex, Safari Hat, and Survivor’s Trophy, free access to Xbox-specific ARK official servers, and a steady delivery of exclusive Xbox One content prior to full game launch expected in June 2016.

Studio Wildcard co-founder Jesse Rapczak is very exited about ARK coming to the Xbox One.

The gamepad control scheme is also much improved over the PC version. ARK on Xbox One will be the smoothest gameplay experience for the majority of gamers… especially for the price!”

While at first when you start the game you will spend your first hours trying to hide from dinosaurs and other players and scavenge for supplies. But once you get a handle of how the game works and what your first objectives should be then you will have endless fun. You can tame and ride multiple dinosaurs, craft and find many useful items such as armor, weapons, and other supplies to help you survive. And also you can farm and grow your food with a variety of seeds, crop plots, and irrigation systems, and live a completely vegetarian lifestyle. (you can also eat the dinosaurs if you want) If you so happen to die in your game you can either spawn again with the same survivor you had before or start again.

So remember you preview members will be able to ride your dinos on December 16.
