Today, Nintendo dropped a Direct Mini on YouTube revealing multiple new details on games including, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. We have known since the reveal of Byleth that we will be seeing a volume 2 of the fighters pass.

The first fighter to arrive in action is a character from ARMS, but they did not go into detail on which one and show any game play at all. We will most likely see a direct in the next 1-2 months, but it’s hard to predict while there is a global pandemic going on right now.

We can expect an E3 Nintendo Direct in June so that’s a possibility where we will see more on the ARMS character and possibly see another reveal as there will be a total of 6 newcomers in Smash Ultimate.

Along with this news Nintendo has put out a free trial of ARMS starting today, March 26 until April 6, 2020 so those can get familiar with the new IP that release in 2017.

What are your thoughts on an ARMS fighter being added to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate?
