It has been reported that the Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Remake will be released by the end of March 2026. This is a fresh report from Insider Gaming, where they believe that it’s one of the unannounced games for Ubisoft’s current fiscal year.
In the FY26 timeline, as seen below, there is one game that is blanked out, and Insider Gaming believes that it is Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag. It’s planned to be released during the week of March 23rd, the outlet believes.

It has been among the worst-kept secrets in gaming over the last two years that Black Flag would be remade. The reports began in 2023. The critically acclaimed Assassin’s Creed title was released on October 29, 2013, for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii U, and then came to PS4 and Xbox. It’s also available on PC via Steam.
In other news, Ubisoft has continued to support the Nintendo Switch 2 as they are releasing Assassin’s Creed Shadows on the platform this December.
Keep in Mind that Ubisoft has not confirmed this. As always, we must take this report with a grain of salt until we know it’s official.
Would you play Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Remake?
