Assassin’s Creed Shadows is reportedly coming to Switch 2 later this year

It hasn’t been a secret that Ubisoft wants to support the Nintendo Switch 2. They started already, and it looks like Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be one of the next titles from the publisher to arrive on the platform.

According to Dealabs, Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 with a game key card version for the physical copy. The outlet reports that the physical version of the game will be released on December 5, 2025. They confirmed it would be for France, but it would likely be worldwide as well.

Pre-orders for Assassin’s Creed Shadows on Switch 2 have yet to be announced, but it is expected that details will be revealed by November 7. The price of the game in USD has not been disclosed, although it is estimated to be around 50 euros.

A few months ago, there was a PEGI listing that had a rating for Assassin’s Creed Shadows on Switch 2, and in a financial call in the Summer, Yves Guillemot said they want to bring Shadows to “other machines”.

Ubisoft hasn’t announced anything about the latest Assassin’s Creed game coming to the Nintendo Switch platform. However, it will not be a surprise to see it come in later this year.
