Ubisoft announced that Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will finally be receiving its Third-Person Update on December 5, 2025. This will be a free major update for the action adventure game, which was released in 2023.
The Third-Person Update was one of two highly requested features for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora from the community. The other one was New Game+. In Third-Person Mode, players will be able to experience Pandora from a new perspective by just one press of a button. Third-Person Mode brings a new sense of scale, freedom, and immersion.
New Game+ will bring a fresh challenge for experienced players that are looking to dive deeper into the world of Pandora. Players can replay the story while keeping their inventory and skills, facing tougher enemies, and unlocking a brand-new skill tree along with more powerful gear.
Since its launch, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora has received quality-of-life updates that include a revamped Hunter’s Guide, a better 40 FPS mode, and rebalanced combat. In our review of the game, a major issue with it was the lack of performance this AAA experience gave right away.
Last July, Frontiers of Pandora received its first Story Pack, The Sky Breaker, and since then has received more support.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is available to play on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
