Back to the Dawn comes to PS5, Switch, and Switch 2 in 2026

Clouded Leopard Entertainment announced, in partnership with Spiral Up Games and developer Metal Head Games, that Back to the Dawn will be coming to PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Switch 2 in 2026.

Back to the Dawn had already been released in Early Access for PC via Steam in 2023 and was followed by its full launch on Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC on July 18, 2025. In our review, we scored Back to the Dawn a 7.5/10.

The game will also now have polished subtitles and brand-new Japanese and Chinese voice acting to “bring the drama to life like never before”.

Thomas the Fox will be voiced in Japanese by Shugo Nakamura, and Bob the Panther will be voiced by Yasuhiro Mamiya. The other cast members will be announced in the next couple of months.
